WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 23, 2026) — USTelecom – The Broadband Association today announced that Brad Welch, CEO and General Manager of CentraCom, has been named to its Board of Directors.
USTelecom is the nation's leading association of broadband providers, representing companies that build and operate the communications networks connecting communities across the country.
Welch brings the perspective of a regional broadband provider to the Board, helping shape the association's work on policies that support broadband deployment, network investment, and connectivity in rural communities. He also serves as Vice Chair of USTelecom's Leadership Committee.

USTelecom Announces 2026 Board and Leadership Committee Officers and Members
USTelecom – The Broadband Association today announced two new members joining its Board of Directors and three new members to the Leadership Committee.
New members to USTelecom's Board of Directors:
- Brad Welch, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, CentraCom (Fairview, Utah)
- Kristi Westbrock, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, CTC (Brainerd, Minnesota)
New members to USTelecom's Leadership Committee:
- Dustin Durden, Chief Executive Officer, Pineland Telephone Cooperative (Metter, Georgia)
- Charlie Greenberg, President, BTEL (Brazoria, Texas)
- Matt Post, President, PhireLink (Slidell, Louisiana)
The Board of Directors re-elected Jeff England of Silver Star Communications as Chair; Jennifer Prather of Totelcom Communications as Vice Chair; Melissa Mann of Lumen as Secretary; and Russell "Rusty" Moore of BBT as Treasurer.
The association's Leadership Committee, which convenes local and regional broadband providers, also re-elected Joshua Descant of REV as Chair; Brad Welch of CentraCom as Vice Chair; and Kristi Westbrock of CTC as Secretary.
