
Eureka, Utah June 29, 2026 — CentraCom crews quickly restored connectivity to Verizon’s Drax tower after recent fires near Eureka damaged nearly two miles of fiber.
Crews arrived around 1:00 PM to repair and replace the damaged fiber and began installing a more permanent underground solution. Service to the tower was restored before 10:30 PM the same day.
Verizon employees on site expressed appreciation for CentraCom’s rapid response, stating, “We wish CentraCom was the provider at all of our towers.”
