CentraCom announced the donation of over $70,000 to local school districts, charitable organizations, and medical foundations. Each year, CentraCom and its employees select organizations to contribute an annual donation. During this time of uncertainty for the health and well-being of the community and the education of students, the employees of CentraCom have chosen to donate to entities on the front-line of service in this community. The donations have been sent to the school districts served by CentraCom, to local and statewide medical foundations and hospitals, and senior adult nursing

And as the students were released from schools to continue their education with online learning, CentraCom connected over 400 homes at no charge for the remainder of the school year.
“We have received a tremendous response from school administrators, teachers and parents,” said Nate Palmer, Vice President Marketing of CentraCom.
Local High School Graduation Ceremonies
All of the local high schools are working to provide graduation ceremonies that will adhere to health requirements and give the graduates the recognition they deserve. Virtual and “drive-up” graduation ceremonies are planned. The CentraCom Local 10 streaming service will be streaming the graduation ceremonies for all of the public high schools in Sanpete, Sevier, Millard and Juab counties.
Barrett Hilton, Director of Production and Content Development, is working with the nine local schools to produce video recordings of the graduation ceremony speeches. Since these events are restricted to a select group of individuals, CentraCom is assisting the schools by recording and broadcasting the events live. Barrett and his team will be broadcasting the speeches and live-streaming the drive-through diploma presentations on CentraCom Local 10 cable TV channel and streaming live on www.local10.tv free for anyone to view. These events begin on Wednesday, May 20 and continue through Friday, May 22, 2020.
