2019 Scholarships Awarded

CentraCom announces the winners of two $2000 scholarships to Snow College and four $750 scholarships. We received many applications from highly qualified candidates from each of our service areas.

Gunnar Carter

Gunnar is currently a student at West Wendover High School. He has maintained a GPA of 4.55. He participates as a member of the football and track and field team. He served as Youth Coalition Leader for the Wendover Prevention Group, Hunter Safety Instructor for Nevada Department of Wildlife, and Referee for Wendover Little League Football.

Gunnar plans to attend BYU-Idaho and to obtain a degree in Psychology.

Jasmine Carter

Jasmine is currently a student at Gunnison High School. She has maintained a GPA of 3.92. She participates as a member of the orchestra, track and field, and tennis teams. She was awarded Academic Allstate in both music and drama. She plays the viola and received a Superior medal for state viola solo. She is a member of the National Honor Society. She serves her community by volunteering at the community care center and helping neighbors with yard work.

Jasmine plans to attend Snow College and study biology. Her choice of attending Snow College will increase the scholarship by $1,250 for a total value of $2000.

Aimee Davenport

Aimee is currently a student at Millard High School. She has maintained a GPA of 3.99. She is a member of multiple sports team and was captain of the cross-country and track teams. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Presidential Scholarship nominee. She is the school's Music Sterling Scholar. She is an active member of the community and serves as elementary school teacher's aid..

Aimee plans to attend Utah State University and to obtain a degree in elementary education.

Kennedy Martin

Kennedy is currently a student at South Sevier High School. She has maintained a GPA of 3.85. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America. She is involved in many community service projects including raising money for kids in Haiti with a waffle drive, raking elderly neighbors' leaves and mowing their lawns, and volunteering support at assisted living centers.

Kennedy plans to attend Dixie State University and to obtain a degree in elementary education.

Riley Seamons

Riley is currently a student at North Sanpete High School. She has maintained a GPA of 3.35. She participates on the school cheer squad and is the Cheer Captain. She is a volunteer as an Emergency Medical Technician Trainee for the North Sanpete Ambulance Association.

Riley plans to attend Snow College be a dental hygienist. Her choice of attending Snow College will increase the scholarship by $1,250 for a total value of $2000.

Dylan Underwood

Dylan is currently a student at Tintic High School. He has maintained a GPA of 3.84. He is a member of the basketball, baseball, track, and golf teams. He is also a member of the school band. He has received recognition as Academic Allstate in Instrumental Music. He serves the community at the Eureka Elementary Book Club. And volunteers is time at town cleanup projects.

Dylan plans to attend Mountainland Technical College for become an electrician.
